The Rec Room is a recording studio dedicated to providing musicians and artists a place to make quality recordings. It has come a long way from it's inception in 1998. Founded with the idea to fill the large void that exists in deciding where to record - large and expensive commercial studios - or - places that generally specialize in 4 song demos for $200. It is a tough decision that is usually determined by economics. Furthermore, recording is a process. Most albums take weeks if not months to record even the best studios. So you have to be backed by a label to afford these desirable studios AND the time to make it worthwhile to record there in the first place.So most of us are left to record somewhere cheap and hope that the final product represents the original vision going in. The Rec Room bridges this gap with affordable rates, quality equipment and a creative atmosphere.
